Extended Access Hours

Local GP practices have been working together to offer patients better access to GP appointments. You can now book appointments to see a GP, Practice Nurse or other Health Professional at the Access Hub held at several surgeries across Chestefield including ours.

Monday - Friday - 07.30-20.00

Saturdays - 08.00 -17.30

To arrange an appointment please speak to the practice receptionist or call the practice on 01246 220166.

When We Are Closed

If you need urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed you should dial 111. This will connect you to the NHS 111 Service free of charge which is provided by a local organisation: Derbyshire Health United. You will be assessed and directed to the most appropriate point of care for your particular needs.

You can also dial 111 if you require health information.

If you require an appointment at the surgery please contact us during normal opening hours.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
